Glazing Robot GRE485
The GRE485 is KSF's powered glass robot. Battery auto-drive at up to 5 km/h moves it around the site without pushing; a precise hydraulic system controls lift, lower and boom extension to 3.25 m; and a six-cup, two-circuit vacuum cradle with 120 mm side shift places curtain-wall units, shopfront glass and stone or composite panels to the millimetre. A safety-stop detector and tip-over alarm with automatic shutdown protect the crew and the panel.
Glazing Robot GRE485
The GRE485 is the auto-drive, manoeuvrable glazing robot for large-format glass: 485 kg capacity at the cradle, 190 kg with the boom fully extended, and 3.25 m of vertical or overhead reach. It unloads panels from the truck, drives them across the slab and installs them in the frame — one machine, one operator, no crane slot.
An extendable base (723–1,053 mm) and removable counterweights keep it stable in use yet narrow enough for corridors, lifts and door openings. The powered big brother of the manual GRM250, supplied, delivered and serviced across the UAE and GCC by ADW Machinery.
Built for the job
Auto-drive, 5 km/h
Two 12 V 80 Ah batteries drive the chassis across the site so the operator steers instead of pushes.
Hydraulic precision
Lift, lower and boom extension on a precise hydraulic system, with precision angle control and a manual winch for the last millimetres.
Safety by design
Safety-stop detector, integrated tip-over alarm with automatic shutdown, and a two-circuit vacuum system on six 10″ cups.
120 mm side shift
Pneumatic cradle shifts the panel sideways to meet the frame without repositioning the machine.
Extendable base
Base widens from 723 mm to 1,053 mm for stability, then narrows to pass through corridors and doorways.
Transport-ready
Removable counterweights bring the unit down to a manageable transport weight for site-to-site moves.
